More than 533 projects have been mapped under this scheme. 213 projects worth Rs 15.48 lakh crore have been evaluated in the Network Planning Group meeting.
Development of roads and railways
With the help of this scheme, there is a plan to build 8,891 kilometers of roads so far. Apart from this, there is also a plan to build 27,000 kilometers of railway tracks.
Green Energy Project
There is also a green energy project under PM Gati Shakti. It extends from Leh (Ladakh) to Kaithal (Haryana). It has a capacity of 13 gigawatts. This project is built as per the Green Energy Corridor.
