Another boost for KMRL’s e feeder bus service, Kochi Metro Rail Limited has now included Infopark, one of Kochi’s premium IT park into they e feeder bus connectivity. This project is expected to offer fuss-free and environmentally friendly linkups which will enhance peoples daily travels for the business people, scholars and the residents.
What Is the E-Feeder Bus Service?
E-Feeder Bus Service is one of the projects by KMRL specifically to enhance the last mile connectivity for the metro commuters. These electric buses are meant to meet the purpose of providing efficiency, sustainability with constant affordability to consumers.
Key Features of E-Feeder Buses:
Fully electric and environment-friendly.
Both of which are provided with features including video and audio, air conditioning and GPS tracking capabilities.
Fares affordable to the public in tune with the major metro transit fare.
Details of the New Route to Infopark
The new extension works on the new line is aimed at increasing the number of direct links between the Kochi Metro stations and Infopark where thousands of IT employees work.
Route Highlights:
Start Point: [Metro station placeholder, e.g., Kakkanad Metro Station].
End Point: Infopark.
Stops Along the Way: to service either [specific stops placeholder] for the real estates or business establishments.
Operational Hours:
Converted to time specific, the e-feeder buses will operate from [start time placeholder] to [end time placeholder] hereby offering commuter many choices anytime of the day.

2. Increased Fleet Size:
Adding increased capacity e-feeder buses to cope with increasing traffic demand.
3. Integrated Ticketing:
Future measures to incorporate integrated ticketing system between metro and feeder bus services which keep travelers moving smoothly.
