LONDON: Over 7,000 cars, including a 24-carat gold-plated Rolls Royce and 25 Ferraris, are the world's largest car collection owned by a family that lives in one of the world's largest houses - Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei. These are the cars used by the Sultan and his family.
These revelations have been made in new pictures of the Sultan's car collection. All these cars are parked in the garage of the 1,788 room palace. According to The Sun report, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and his family had kept this huge collection hidden in the garage of the grand royal palace till now.

Hassanal Bolkiah has been the Sultan of Brunei since 1967 and the Prime Minister of Brunei since independence from the United Kingdom. His net worth is said to be $30 billion.

The collection includes the Silver Spur II used on the Sultan's wedding day, a Bugatti EB110, a Bentley Buccaneer, six Bentley Dominators – the company's first SUV – and a 1996 Bentley Buccaneer, a sporty coupe.
The Sultan had several cars built for himself; the Bentley Camelot, Phoenix, Imperial, Rapier, Pegasus, Silverstone and Spectre. In total, the family owns 380 Bentleys. But the biggest collection is of the Sultan's Rolls-Royces. He owns over 600 Rolls-Royces. These include custom and secret vehicles like the Majestic and the Cloudesque, all of which are large and luxurious limousines. Plus thousands of other luxury cars, all garaged in a huge automotive palace with separate wings for the most important brands.
