In the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Mahayuti alliance returned to power with a huge majority and won 230 seats. In Jharkhand, Hemant Soren's party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led alliance retained power by winning 56 seats in the 81-member assembly. After the election results were declared, the exercise to form the government in both the states has intensified. Sources are claiming that within two to three days both Maharashtra and Jharkhand will get their new Chief Minister. An update has also come out on when both the governments will be sworn in.
On which day will the new government be sworn in in Maharashtra?
According to sources, the swearing-in ceremony will be held in Maharashtra on Monday i.e. 25th November. It is being claimed that the swearing-in ceremony of the new government will take place at Raj Bhavan and along with the Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister (Deputy CM) will also take oath. However, the name of the Chief Minister has not been announced by the Mahayuti till now. But from the day of the results, the name of former CM Devendra Fadnavis is at the forefront in the race for the Chief Minister. Let us tell you that in his address, Prime Minister Modi also congratulated Fadnavis for the landslide victory by calling him a best friend and Ajit Pawar a brother.

If we talk about Jharkhand, Hemant Soren will go to the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi on Sunday evening and resign from his post. Later, he will stake claim to form the government again in the state. If sources are to be believed, the formula for ministerial posts has also been decided. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government can be held on November 26 at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi.
It is being told that India Block comrades may attend the swearing-in ceremony. According to sources, Mamta Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, Tejashwi Yadav, and Dipankar Bhattacharya, all these leaders will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.
