
Sarcoma Cancer: Sarcoma cancer is a rare and life-threatening disease that develops mainly in soft tissues and bones. It can affect any part of the body and is often diagnosed late, making treatment difficult. The exact cause of sarcoma cancer is not yet clear. It is caused by the rapid growth of cancer cells. People who are exposed to radiation or chemicals may be at increased risk.
Risk of Sarcoma Cancer
Sarcoma cancer is most commonly found in the head, neck, chest, arms, and legs. It spreads slowly in the body and can damage organs in severe cases.

Types of sarcoma
1. Soft tissue sarcoma
- 80% of sarcoma cases occur in soft tissues. These include:
- liposarcoma(stomach)
- Leiomyosarcoma (uterine or digestive tract)
- rhabdomyosarcoma
- fibrosarcoma
2. Sarcoma of bones
- Sarcomas that occur in bones are called osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, and Ewing sarcoma.
- Osteosarcoma: occurs mostly in adolescents.
- Chondrosarcoma: A dangerous tumor that develops in cartilage.
- Ewing sarcoma: Found in children and young people.
