US Presidential Election 2024: The countdown for the presidential election in the world's most powerful country, America, has begun, and is being watched by the whole world. Former US President Donald Trump does not miss any opportunity to attack his rival politicians President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Last Thursday, the festival of Diwali was celebrated in many countries of the world along with India, on this occasion, the Republican Party's presidential candidate Donald Trump also wished Hindus a Happy Diwali and vowed to strengthen relations with India after winning the election.

Attacked Kamala and Joe Biden

While wishing Diwali, Donald Trump accused his Democratic Party rival Kamala Harris and current President Joe Biden of ignoring Hindus in America and around the world. For the first time, he mentioned the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh and called Prime Minister Narendra Modi his good friend. Trump said that Bangladesh is in a state of complete anarchy. In a post on 'Truth Social', Trump said, 'I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are being attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh. There is a state of complete anarchy in Bangladesh.'

Trump spoke in Bangladesh for the first time.

It is worth noting that this was the first time that former US President Donald Trump has spoken on the issue of Bangladesh. In July-August, hundreds of Hindus were killed in Bangladesh when the student movement turned into massive violent protests. After this, the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left the country on August 5. Donald Trump said, 'Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend Prime Minister Modi.' The former President said, 'Happy Diwali to everyone. I hope this festival of lights will ensure the victory of good over evil.' However, no response has come from Kamala Harris on these allegations of Trump yet.
