US WARNING: “If you reap what you sow, then how will one bear mangos from the Acacia Tree?” This saying couldn’t be truer when talking about Pakistan. Pakistan is suffering greatly due to its own actions. In fact, the current state of Pakistan makes it the most “terror afflicted” nation in the world. The number of terrorist activities is growing at an alarming rate. To put things into perspective, this nation reported 517 terrorist attacks in 2023, and this number is projected to reach a staggering 1,099 by 2024. As a result, the United States has taken significant action in regard to Pakistan.

US Issued Advisory

Due to increased terrorism and violence, the US has advised its citizens against traveling to the Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces in Pakistan. The US Department of state has put a travel alert for its citizens. The alert states that due to violent terrorism, Pakistani borders should not be crossed.

Attack by terrorists has increased in Pakistan.

An American Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa travel advisory warns against traveling there because violent groups continue to plan and execute attacks in Pakistan. Recent attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region have been more prevalent. There have also been quite a few casualties from these tremendous terrorist attempts. Pakistan is still unstable regarding security, and the advisory also says so.

Terrorists attacks.

Terrorism and violence actions have occurred towards both civilians and local military and police within the region. As an example, transportation hubs, shopping malls, military facilities, high level government offices such as universities, schools, hospitals and even banks along with religious places become targets. Diplomats and embassies from America have even been targets in the past.

Islamabad put on high alert.

There is a high alert level in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. The entirety of the border zones entry and exits is pointless at this time. This comes in after the recent attempt by terrorists on a checkpoint located at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border.
