Noida News: In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to Delhi, a young woman allegedly tried to kill a student she befriended on social media when he refused to marry her. News agency PTI gave this information quoting the police. Inspector in-charge of Rabupura police station Raghavendra Kumar Singh said that on Tuesday night, Hansraj, a resident of Ronija village, filed a report that his son Dheeraj (21) was called by Priya on the morning of 24 December and she tried to kill him.

Drugs mixed in fruity

Hansraj said that Priya and his son became friends through social media about six months ago. After this Priya came to Greater Noida. The complainant said that his son was returning home with Priya in the car, meanwhile Priya mixed intoxicants in fruit juice and made Dheeraj drink it and called her two other friends and tried to kill him by cutting the veins of his neck and hand. Hansraj said that some people identified his son after seeing him unconscious in the car and informed the police.

The report said that Dheeraj was admitted to the Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida for treatment, where he is being treated. The police station in charge said that based on the complaint, a case has been registered against Priya and her unknown friends under various sections including an attempt to murder and the investigation is underway. Dheeraj's brother-in-law alleged that the girl traps people in a love trap and accuses them of rape and then extorts a huge amount of money from them.
