Plane crash in the year 2024

There are only a few days left for the year 2024 to end, but a major plane accident happened in the last week as well. The plane accident in Kazakhstan has increased the number of cases of plane crashes this year.

Japan Plane Crash

2 January 2024 Japan Airlines Flight 516 and a Japan Coast Guard plane collided at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan. All 367 passengers and 12 crew members of Flight 516 remained safe, but 5 of the 6 crew members on board the Coast Guard plane died.

Belgorod Oblast Plane Crash

24 January 2024 Russian Air Force Ilyushin IL76 military transport aircraft crashed in Belgorod Oblast. The plane was carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war and 9 crew members, all of whom died.

24 July 2024 A Saurya Airlines plane crashes shortly after takeoff from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, killing 18 of the 19 people on board.
