SC on Bulldozer Action: The Supreme Court on Wednesday strongly criticized the arbitrary bulldozer action. The court said that the executive cannot ignore the judiciary and demolish people's houses only on the ground that they are accused of crimes. While laying down strict guidelines for demolition, the court also warned against 'executive excesses', saying that guilty officials will have to pay.
