Russia-Ukraine war: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made a shocking claim by sharing a video on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Zelensky has claimed that Russian soldiers are burning the faces of dead North Korean soldiers to hide their identity before burying them in the Kursk region. Zelensky has earlier claimed that Russia has fielded North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.

Sharing a video on social media, the Ukrainian President said that whenever we think that Russia cannot stoop any lower, we see something even worse. Zelensky said that Russia not only sends North Korean soldiers to attack Ukrainian bases, but also tries to hide the identity of these soldiers.
Volodymyr Zelensky wrote, “Russia tried to hide the presence of North Korean soldiers. Showing their faces during training was prohibited. The Russians attempted to erase any video evidence of their presence. And now, Russian soldiers are burning the faces of North Korean soldiers killed in combat. This is a display of disrespect that is currently prevalent in Russia, disrespect for every human being.”
Zelensky further wrote that the North Korean people do not have a single reason to fight and die for Putin. This madness must be stopped. The bodies of North Korean soldiers can be seen in the video posted by Zelensky. In the video, some Russian soldiers were setting fire to some parts of the snowy ground.
Ukraine claims to have killed 30 Korean soldiers
Earlier, Ukraine claimed to have killed 30 North Korean soldiers fighting for Russia on the front line in the Kursk region. According to Ukraine's military intelligence agency, these North Korean soldiers were killed near the villages of Plekhovo, Vorozhba and Martynovka. However, Russia refused to comment on the Ukrainian claim. Russia has also denied that North Korean soldiers are fighting on its side on the battlefield. Pyongyang has also called the reports of deployment of its soldiers fake.
