CM Yogi Threat News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been threatened with death. Mumbai Traffic Police has received this threatening message. An official gave this information on Sunday. Mumbai Police has started investigating the matter.

The official said that the Mumbai Police traffic control room had received a message from an unknown phone number that if Adityanath did not resign from the post of chief minister, he would be killed like Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddiqui.

CM Yogi may come to Maharashtra for campaigning.

The officer said that Adityanath may come to Maharashtra for the state assembly election campaign and hence the police are on alert. The threat sent through a WhatsApp message from an unknown number demands that Yogi Adityanath resign from his post within 10 days or be ready to face serious consequences.

Baba Siddiqui was shot dead.d

The message warns that he will be killed like Baba Siddiqui. Former minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Bandra last month. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder. Several accused have been arrested in connection with the case.

Chief Minister's security has been beefed up.

The traffic control cell received this alarming message on Saturday evening. Officials are currently investigating the source of the threat and trying to identify the sender. After this threat, the security of Chief Minister Adityanath has been increased considerably as a precaution.

On the issue of threats to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said, 'The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh lives in an impenetrable security cover. However, there should be no laxity in security. This should be investigated and strict action should be taken against whoever is guilty as per Indian law. If necessary, the security of the Chief Minister should be increased further.'
