The alleged attack on Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan seems to have turned into a communal riot as Former Pakistani Minister, Fawad Chaudhry claims that the minorities in India, specifically Muslims are being targeted. He continues to say “Since the consolidation of bhatkhande , Pakistani government should address these issues of the oppressed Indian Muslims.” on X.
In response to an X-user asking Chaudhary to facilitate Ali Khan’s immigration to Pakistan, he suggested: “Why It’s His Country India you have a problem with Indian muslims, go elsewhere to live to go actively to India”.
The attack occurred at the Bandra geographic area of Mumbai where Saif Ali Khan resided at the time. The attack happened on january 16, at around 2:30 am. During the attack, an aide of Ali Khan was also injured in the attack and was taken to Lilavati Hospital, in which she received surgery alongside Saif Khan for the six injuries he claimed to have received.
As per the findings to date, it appears that the attacker arrived at Saif Ali Khan's house a couple of hours prior to the attack and so Sikandar could have easily climbed the walls and gotten inside the society. Thereafter, the actor’s house was approached by the perpetrator through the fire exit. The police have accused now have further identified the perpetrator and presumes that he is still hiding somewhere in Prabha Devi vicinity.
Comment made by Karni Sena regarding ‘Islamisation’
Karni Sena, a Hindu religious body in India, also claimed similarly, “The Khan brothers, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan have become the target as the filmmakers are instructed to aim at Hindu actors and refrain from offering them employment opportunities in the industry”- Sengar.
