Nashik News Today: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Maharashtra's Nashik district. Here a man, along with his father, allegedly murdered a neighbor and then reached the police station with the deceased's severed head. After reaching the police station, the man surrendered before the police. News agency PTI gave this information quoting a police officer. He said that this incident took place in Nanashi village of Dindori taluka on Wednesday morning, after which the police arrested the accused person. The police also took his son into custody. The age of the accused person's son has not been confirmed yet.

There is tension in the village

He said that Suresh Boke (40) and his son killed their neighbour Gulab Ramchandra Waghmare (35) with a sharp weapon. He said that after the incident, they reached Nanashi police station with the head of the deceased and the weapon used in the murder. The police officer said that when the local people came to know about the incident, they demolished the house of the accused father-son and set their car on fire. He said that tension spread in the village after the incident. For security reasons, along with the local police, policemen from nearby police stations and State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) personnel have also been deployed in the village.

There was suspicion of kidnapping the daughter

He said, 'Initial investigation revealed that the killer and Waghmare were neighbours and there was a long-standing dispute between the two families. They had lodged a police complaint against each other on December 31. The next day, Boke and his son killed Waghmare on suspicion of helping their (Boke's) daughter to elope.' The police officer said that based on the complaint of Waghmare's wife Meenabai (34), a case was registered at Peth police station under various sections of BNS. He said, 'Boke has been arrested, while his son has been detained. Both have been handed over to Dindori police for security reasons. Security has been increased in the area and the situation is now under control.'
