Mumbai Bus Accident: CCTV footage of the horrific bus accident in Kurla, Mumbai, in which 7 people lost their lives has surfaced. It can be seen in the CCTV camera installed inside the BEST bus that as soon as the accident happened, people started running out of the broken window without waiting to come out of the door. Meanwhile, the driver driving the bus is also seen in the video, who picks up his two backpacks and jumps out of the broken window and disappears from the spot. Many videos related to the Kurla bus accident are going viral on social media, meanwhile, after seeing the CCTV footage, people's anger has burst out on the bus driver. Many users have demanded strict action against the bus driver.

The bus went out of control and collided with people

Last Monday, BEST's electric bus went out of control and hit several vehicles and pedestrians. Seven people lost their lives in this accident. In the video, there was panic among the passengers sitting inside the bus and whoever found a way, started trying to save their lives by jumping out of the bus. As soon as the bus running at normal speed went out of control, the passengers held the pillars and handles tightly, while many people started looking out of the window to see what was happening on the roads ahead. Immediately after the bus stopped, many passengers did not wait for their turn to get out of the door and instead jumped out of the broken windows.

Soon after, driver Sanjay More got up and went into the cabin, picked up his two backpacks and jumped out of a broken window on the left side of the bus. Meanwhile, the bus conductor got down from the rear door. Seven people were killed and 42 others injured when a bus operated by Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) derailed on SG Barve Marg in Kurla around 9.30 pm on Monday. Later, the police arrested driver Sanjay More and charged him with culpable homicide and sent him to police custody till December 21. Earlier in the day, regional transport officers (RTOs) shared a preliminary assessment report with the police, stating that the bus had no technical fault.
