Dr. Manmohan Singh's last rites will be performed today on 28 December 2024, Saturday afternoon at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that Singh's last journey will go from the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters to Nigam Bodh Ghat at 9.30 am on Saturday. Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of the funeral of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Saturday. The traffic advisory gives information about restrictions and diversions on major routes of New Delhi. The public has been advised to avoid some routes. According to the advisory, the diversions include Raja Ram Kohli Marg, Rajghat Red Light, Signature Bridge and Yudhishthir Setu. Traffic advisory and diversion on Ring Road (Mahatma Gandhi Marg), Nishad Raj Marg, Boulevard Road, SPM Marg, Lothian Road and Netaji Subhash Marg will be in effect from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
