The exit polls conducted by different organisations had predicted AAP under Arvind Kejriwal as running on the second position and the coming third was none other than Congress party. During this contest it was the AAP under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal in competition with BJP under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi whereas the Congress by successful try attempt to make its mark in the competition was led by the Rahul Gandhi, leader of the opposition in the Lok sabha.

In the recent P-Marq Exit Poll, the BJP’s chances to cross the halfway mark are 39-49 of the total 80 seats. In this case it has predicted that AAP will secure 21 to 31 seats while the congress will win 0 to 1 seat in the 70 member house. P-Marq exit poll has not allocated any seat for Others.
