Dr. Aditya Gupta said that mobile phones emit radio frequency (RF) radiations, which come even closer when kept under the pillow. These radiations can have a negative effect on your mind and body. Such a habit for a long time can cause problems like headache, lack of sleep and stress.

By keeping the mobile under the pillow, the notification, vibration or ring tone of the phone can disturb your sleep. Good sleep is very important for our health and if you do not get enough sleep, it will affect your mental and physical health.

Keeping the phone under the pillow prevents the heat from escaping, which can cause the battery to overheat. This situation can sometimes also cause a fire. In many cases, incidents of people's beds catching fire have been seen.
