Prashant Kishor Bail: Jansuraj Party President Prashant Kishor has been granted unconditional bail on Monday (December 6) a few hours after his arrest amid a hunger strike over the protest by BPSC students. Earlier also, the court had granted bail to Prashant Kishor with some conditions in the bail bond but he refused to accept those conditions and chose the path of going to jail.

Prashant Kishor was earlier granted bail on the condition that he will not stage any dharna or protest against the government or create any law and order problem in the future. Prashant Kishor did not agree to accept these bail conditions. Now he has been granted unconditional bail.

What did the police say?

Speaking to PTI, Patna District Magistrate (DM) Chandrashekhar Singh said, "Yes, the police arrested Kishore and his supporters who were sitting on a dharna at Gandhi Maidan on Monday morning. They will now be produced in court. Their dharna was illegal, he said, adding that they were protesting near a prohibited place."
