Haryana Government Stubble Order: The level of pollution in the national capital Delhi and NCR has crossed the danger mark, meanwhile, the Supreme Court also reprimanded the Delhi government for its failed preparations to control pollution. As usual, the Delhi government has once again blamed the stubble burning by farmers in neighboring states for air pollution. In this regard, the Supreme Court has also reprimanded the Punjab and Haryana governments. To deal with the increasing air pollution in the capital and neighboring states with the changing weather, the Naib Singh Saini government of Haryana has now taken a big action.
Haryana government's 2 orders approved
Haryana's Saini government has also issued an order against the burning of stubble, in which 2 orders have been approved. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal said in a statement that if any farmer or person is found involved in the burning of stubble in the fields, then an FIR will be registered against him immediately. According to the order, if any farmer is caught burning stubble, then a red entry will be made along with the FIR and the farmers will be banned from selling their crops at ASP for the next two seasons.
Congress called it a dictatorial decision.
Meanwhile, the opposition Congress party has termed this decision of the Haryana government as a dictatorial decision against the farmers. Congress MP Kumari Selja said in her post, 'The new order of the BJP government is another attack on the farmers of Haryana. Preventing farmers from selling their crops at MSP for the next two seasons by making a 'red entry' with FIR for burning stubble is not only a dictatorship, but also a direct attack on the livelihood of small farmers. The government has suggested buying expensive 'Happy Seeder' machines, but can farmers struggling with financial crisis buy them? Instead of punishing the farmers, the government should provide solutions.
