Bangladesh, as said by the foreign ministry, lodged a complaint with the Indian government for allowing defamed pm Sheikh Hasina to make ‘false and fabricated claims’ during her trip to India. This comes a day after Hasina spoke through a social media platform ABC, exhorting her citizens to fight back against the regime.

The ministry further claimed that it has “strong unrest with the indian government over the disinformation which Hasina has been making-over social media and is creating instability in Bangladesh.”

The assertion, which has been discussed with the deputy high commissioner of India in Dhaka, expresses deep concern, disappointment and serious reservation of the Bangladesh government over such statements which are bringing ‘anger’ among the citizens of the country as.

The ministry additionally highlighted that these late activities on her part can only be seen as a “hostile move towards Bangladesh and worsens relations between the two states.”

Following a huge student-led protest that ended her Awami League's reign of power that lasted for 16 years, Hasina, aged 77, is commemorating a year of her escape to India which took place on August 5.
