London: Syria civil war: Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad did something before fleeing to Russia that has led to accusations of cowardice on him. Media reports have claimed that Assad sold Syria's military secrets to Israel before fleeing. Based on this information, Israel is launching precise missile attacks on Syria's weapons depots.

Why did Assad do this?

According to The Sun's report, this cruel deal by Assad was the last thing he did to save his life. Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad traded his country's military secrets to Israel in exchange for a safe exit from the country.

What are those military secrets?

The murderous dictator reportedly handed over the coordinates of the weapons depots, which Israel is now using to bomb Syrian targets. Abdulkadir Selvi, a well-known commentator for the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, said a reliable source told him that Assad "handed over a list of the location of weapons depots, missile systems and warplanes, which is a guarantee that Israel will not target them during their flight."

Bashar al-Assad fled Syria and took refuge in Moscow and the rebels overthrew his government. Immediately after the fall of Assad's government, Israel started air strikes on Syrian military strongholds. Assad says that the base where he was hiding was attacked, due to which he had to flee to Russia.

Why is Israel attacking?

Israel has said that it is carrying out attacks to prevent weapons from "falling into the hands of extremists". Meanwhile, Syria's new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa signaled a retreat from confrontation with Israel after the attacks. He declared: The Israelis have clearly crossed the line in Syria. But after years of war and conflict, Syria does not allow us to enter into new conflicts.
