The plane was circling to burn oil.

According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, Air India Express flight IX 613 from Tiruchirappalli to Sharjah has landed safely at Tiruchirappalli airport. DGCA was monitoring the situation. There was a problem with opening the landing gear, however, the plane has landed normally. The airport was put on alert mode to deal with any emergency. The Air India plane took off from Tiruchirappalli for Sharjah at 5:40 pm. After a technical fault in the plane, it was asked to return, but it was not safe to make an emergency landing with full fuel, so the pilots burned some of the plane's oil while flying around the airport and made a safe landing.

The breath of the passengers was stuck for two and a half hours.

The plane kept circling in the sky for more than two and a half hours and finally landed at 8.15 pm. Reports of a possible problem with the landing gear started coming in at around 7.50 pm and Tiruchirapalli airport prepared for an emergency landing by keeping ambulances ready. Let us tell you that after a fault in the landing gear, the wheels of the plane do not open outwards properly, due to which the plane can directly hit the ground. Earlier also, many such incidents have come to light in which after a fault in the landing gear, the pilot had to risk the lives of the passengers to make a safe landing. Thankfully, the landing of the Air India plane was safe.
