Pakistani officials said that the bus blown up by separatists was going from Karachi to Turbat. But when the bus reached New Bahman area, it was hit by an IED (improvised explosive device). They said that four dead bodies and 32 injured have been taken to the nearest hospital. According to a senior police officer, "Investigation is being done to find out the cause of the blast.

BLA took responsibility for the blast

A Pakistani police officer said that senior police officer Zohaib Mohsin and his family were also travelling in the bus. In such a situation, it is possible that BLA targeted them and carried out the blast. Taking responsibility for the blast, BLA has said that it targeted a military convoy.
