There has been an attempt to attack former Delhi Chief Minister and National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal. AAP party leaders say that an attempt was made to attack Kejriwal in Vikaspuri during his padayatra on Friday. AAP called this attack a conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Party leaders said that BJP tried to attack Arvind Kejriwal by sending goons. After the incident, reactions of AAP leaders have started coming out.

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia wrote in a post on the social media platform 'X', "The attack on Arvind Kejriwal ji is extremely condemnable and worrying. The BJP has carried out this attack through its goons. If anything happens to Arvind Kejriwal ji, the entire responsibility will be on the BJP. We are not going to be afraid - Aam Aadmi Party will remain steadfast on its mission."

People associated with BJP attacked

Saurabh Bhardwaj, a minister in the Delhi government, issued a video message and said, “Today Arvind Kejriwal was walking in Vikaspuri and meeting people. For the last few days, whenever Arvind Ji has been going among the people, he has been getting immense love and support. Yesterday he himself went with us to an ice cream shop in Connaught Place, and after that, he went to a pawn shop. In a short while, many people came to take selfies and talk to him.

In the video message, he said, I think BJP is not able to digest this and today people associated with BJP have tried to attack Arvind Kejriwal. Even before this, Arvind Kejriwal had been attacked many times, when he was in Tihar Jail, his insulin was stopped. An attempt was made to damage his kidney or cause his death. Now this kind of attack is very cowardly and it is only because when Arvind ji goes among the public, he gets love.

He further said that we want to make it clear that if there is any threat to Arvind Kejriwal's life or any harm comes to him, then only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be responsible for this.
