Shootout in apartment
Canadian police said on Saturday that they have arrested two accused – Ivan Rain and Judith Salto, both 30 years old – and charged them with first-degree murder. According to police, they rushed to the 107th Avenue area after reports of a shooting at an apartment and found Singh unconscious. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
An alleged CCTV video of the incident shows one of the attackers from the three-member gang throwing Singh down the stairs and shooting him from behind. The video then shows a man and a woman walking down the corridor. The man can be heard screaming as he picks up and repeatedly points out a large weapon. He is then seen striking someone off-camera with the weapon multiple times, while the woman and another person stand nearby.
Another part of the footage shows a man being pushed downstairs while the shooter fires at him from behind. However, police have not confirmed the authenticity of the video.
