Pune: Our soldiers deserve the latest protection that technology has to offer and operating robotic dogs with the name Multi-Utility Legged Equipment (MULEs) depicts nothing short of that. In 2023 on the 17th of January, the MULEs were featured in a commencement ceremony by the Indian army. The show was held for the first time at the BEG and centre parade grounds in Khadki where these futuristic machines were showcased. The machines operating in harsh environments further reduce the risks faced by the soldiers.
The machines come equipped with state of the art technology and help limit the threat human soldiers are placed in all while ensuring the capability and strength of the army is expanded. The Indian army incorporated MULEs into their forces and now possess 100 of them.
