The wooden bat wielding man’s actions on the Bengaluru Mysuru project highway does raise a lot of red flags. We can not only observe the blatant disregard of human life but the intentional attempt to inflict harm on the vehicles speeding around him. The terrible actions of the man in the video do put a lot of question marks around the safety of people using that particular portion of the highway.
Darshan shared the footage on X, alerting motorists and said, ‘Exceedingly caution for travelers on Mysore-Bangalore Expressway. Some car toppling attempts around Kengeri (Jan 20, 6:42 PM). While a miscreant was holding a log, he placed it at an accurate distance near the closest lane aiming towards the divider in order to facilitate a collision and loot. Video below’ Darshan added.
In the clip, the vehicle ahead of the camera car suddenly made a turn. That action shifted my attention causing the driver who was right behind him to reduce the speed. The moment he got closer to the view, or the driver started to put the log perilously towards the divider, it was not the ideal position for car passing through the lane. A single second single mistake could have cost the driver a life changing accident where the vehicle could have even tipped upside down. Fatal.

Darshan tagged Bengaluru Police in his post and but they have responded, and so he did. He also reiterated an accusation demanding the arrest of the above person. The reactions from social media users were vigorous on this topic.
A social media user said, ‘This is worrying and downright dangerous. It is selfish to think one can risk another person’s life for valuables and that too in the evening.’
Another user worried by this phenomenon noted how unbelievable this act is It is just outside city limits and in evening, What are the risks at night? Imagine how bad this highway is going to get with no proper entry exit controls, no patroling, and only exorbitant fees for tunneling.’
