Infrastructure development projects like Shaktipeeth E-way will enable faster access to these rural areas leading to overall development of small towns and regions. I understand that the Shaktipeeth Samruddhi E-way starts from Nagpur, crosses through Goa and ends at Goa which is situated around the regions of Patradevi. The six-lane and twelve districts expressway is expected to link the two metro cities seamlessly and give new hope to the needy sections in the rural areas of the regions where it connects.
With the construction of the Shaktipeeth Expressway, the time taken to travel to and from the two major cities is now reduced to 8 to 10 hours from the previous time of between 18 to 20 hours. As reported by 'The Times of Economic', the list of villages that make up the Shaktipeeth Expressway contains behind Nerli, Vikaswadi, Kaneriwadi, Sangavade, Sangavadewadi, Halasavade, Khebwade, Kaneri and Kogil Budruk.
Increased Tourism
Patradevi, which is situated along the Maharashtra-Goa border, was once a part of Nagpur but has now made connectivity easier between the two regions, paving the way to 12 districts that were joined during the journey. The Nagpur to Goa Toll Road passes through several people areas including Wardha, Yavatmal, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, and Sindhudurg.
The new highway will have 5 clusters enabling passengers’ access to prominent temples and other sites- Sewagram, Mahur, Karanja lad, Aundha Nagnath, Takht Sachkhand Gurudwara, Parli Vajyanath, Ambejogai, Adampur of Saint Balumama, Manalvedha, Kunkeshwar, Narsobachiwadi, Tuljapur, Pandharpur and Patradevi , added the media report.
About Shaktipeeth Expressway
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation MSRDC has taken up the task of in constructing the road to make the journey quick and secure. Also, it is noted that the new expressway will link a number of Shaktipeeth temples. This is likely to enhance religious tourism and at the same time promote trade in the state of Maharashtra.
