Father was fired from his job
My grandfather handed over my father to Prithviraj Ji. My father had left his job around 10012 and he was thrown out because he talked about the rights of workers and fought for them.

I used to live in Raj Kapoor's outhouse.
In such a situation, my father got into debt and since Kapoor had brought us here, we used to live in Raj Kapoor's outhouse, where the servants and the driver lived.

Father's illness brought us to the movies.
Boney Kapoor further said that the debt on their father had increased so much that his health had started deteriorating and he had heart disease and we did not want to give him stress, but someone had to run the show at home. In such a situation, both of us brothers, i.e. Anil Kapoor and Boney, decided that they would work on films so that the household expenses could be met.
