New Delhi: The ICC has released the schedule of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan. A total of eight teams will play 15 matches in this 19-day ODI tournament. The Indian cricket team will play all its matches at the Dubai International Stadium. In this tournament, Indian star batsman Virat Kohli will have a chance to create a new history.

Kohli and other Indian players will return to the 50-over format in February when Team India hosts England for a three-match ODI series. India have played only 3 ODIs in 2024 and hence the ODI series against England will be important for India ahead of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The tournament will see India and Pakistan clash in Dubai on February 23. Kohli will create a world record as soon as he takes the field against Pakistan on February 23. The Indian legend has played 295 ODIs so far and will complete his 300th ODI in Dubai. Virat will enter the history books and become the first cricketer to play 100 Tests, 300 ODIs and 100 T20s in February.

Former Indian captain Virat has played 121 Tests, 295 ODIs and 125 T20 matches so far. He has already retired from T20 Internationals. There are many players who have played more than 100 Tests, 300 ODIs and 100 T20Is but none of them has managed to perform consistently well in all three formats.

The right-handed batsman started his Indian career with his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2008. In 2010, he made his T20 debut against Zimbabwe in Harare. Virat was the vice-captain of the team in his T20 debut match. He started his Test career in 2011 against West Indies.

Virat, the fastest batsman to score 10000 runs in ODIs, has scored 13906 runs in this format. He is close to completing 14000 ODI runs and can achieve this feat in the series against England.

Sachin Tendulkar (18426) and Kumar Sangakkara (14234) are the only two batsmen to score more than 14,000 runs in the format.
