
Veteran South Indian actor and martial arts expert Shihan Hussaini has passed away at the age of 60 in Chennai while undergoing treatment for blood cancer. His family confirmed the news on Tuesday, expressing their deep grief.
Hussaini was known not only for his roles in Tamil cinema but also for his significant contributions as a trainer in martial arts and archery, coaching several top stars including Pawan Kalyan and Thalapathy Vijay.
Family and Final Rites Announcement
In an emotional Facebook post, his family shared:
“I am very sad to inform that HU (Shihan Hussaini) has left us. HU will be at his residence in Besant Nagar by evening.”
They added that his body would be available for last respects till 7 PM. A series of tribute events have been planned:
Archers have been requested to arrive in uniform with bows and arrows. A ceremonial shooting will take place at 5 PM.
Karate practitioners are expected to pay tribute with a demonstration of katas at 3 PM.
Final rites will be performed after 7 PM.
