Mumbai: Vedic Astrology as every one of us knows, considers that there are times of the day which are considered negative or unlucky due to planetary influences. These negative periods are easier to go through, but success is always difficult to obtain during these periods.
Rahu kaal: This period spans close to one and a half hour and is presided over by Rahu; a planet viewed as causing confusion and problems. While undertaking activities which need attention such as beginning new ventures and making important decisions or starting a new travel, it is best to keep off this duration as the negative results from these activities could start troubling you.
Gulika Kaal: Its an even more shorter negative time period divulged by gulika, the planet that is said to be the cause of delay and problems. This is a period which people try to avoid while trying to undertake important things. Just like other negative periods, gulika also avoids problems, but does not prevent them.
Yamaganda Kaal: It’s believed that things started during this time will be more difficult and will surely require extra effort to acheive.
There are people who are firm believers in Vedic astrology who tend to plan their day in such a way as to avoid these negative periods so that they could cope it to the extent possible.
These are the timings for Rahu Kaal for some of the cities of India for January 21st 2025.
According to the forecast, today’s Rahu Kaal commences in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai at -'3:35 PM and ends at 4:58 PM' and Yamaganda starts at '10:04 AM and finishes at 11:26 AM while Gulika is from 12:49 PM to 2:12 PM.
For Chandigarh and Ambal, these are the timings for Rahu Kaal - '3:09 PM to 4:26 PM’, Yamaganda - ‘9:58 AM to 11:16 AM’ and Gulika - ‘12:34 PM to 1:51 PM'.
In Amritsar and Jalandhar, today’s timings are as follows - '3:16 PM to 4:33 PM' for Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda starts from ‘10:07 AM to 11:24 AM' and Gulika from ‘12:41 PM to 1:58 PM’.
As per the calculations for today in Delhi- NCR, the time for Rahu Kaal is from '3:09 PM to 4:28 PM’ , Yamaganda remains the same - ‘9:55 AM to 11:13 AM' and Gulika from '12:32 PM to 1:50 PM.
For Prayagraj and Lucknow, today’s calculations show the following timings Rahu Kaal: '2:56 PM to 4:15 PM', Yamaganda - '9:38 AM to 10:58 AM' and Gulika from ‘12:17 PM to 1:37 PM’.
