When the stock market starts trading next week, 10 stocks including large-cap IT stock Wipro will trade ex-date. Bonus shares have been announced in Wipro, the ex-date of which will come next week.
Wipro and several other companies are likely to be in focus this week as they are approaching their record date for the purpose of dividends, bonus issues, see, and stosplitslit.

The record date is the date set by the company to decide which shareholders are eligible to receive the offer. To be eligible for a buyback offer, bonus issue,, or stock split, the shares must be in the demat account on the record date.

Shareholders who buy the stock at least a day before the ex-date are eligible for the dividend as settlement happens the next day. Shareholders who buy the stock on the ex-date are not eligible for dividend/split/bonus issues etc. Here is a list of stocks that have ex-dates for various corporate actions this week.
