The stock market witnessed a tremendous rise on Friday. At the domestic level, buying in the shares of some selected big companies made the market trend positive. The BSE's major index Sensex closed at 79,802.79, up 759 points. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty also closed at 24,131.10 with a gain of 216 points. At one point during trading, the Sensex saw a jump of 880 points, which clearly shows its rise.

Effect of buying at lower levels

According to analysts, buying at lower levels in major companies like Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries created a positive environment in the market. The shares of these companies strengthened, which restored the confidence of investors. This rise in Sensex and Nifty proved helpful in recovering from the big fall in the last session. On Thursday, Sensex fell by 1,190 points, and Nifty also closed 360 points down.

Adani Group companies rise.

Adani Group companies also contributed significantly to this rise in the market. Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions registered a strong rise of 21.72 percent and 15.56 percent respectively. There was heavy buying in the shares of these companies, which gave a new direction to the market. Apart from this, BSE's smallcap and midcap indices also saw an increase of 0.76 percent and 0.31 percent, which is a positive sign for small and medium investors.

Mixed trend in global markets

Mixed signals were seen in the global markets. The markets of China and Hong Kong witnessed a rise, while the markets of South Korea and Japan closed with a decline. There was a decline in the European markets as well. Meanwhile, the US markets remained closed due to 'Thanksgiving', while the price of Brent crude fell by 0.30 percent to $ 73.06 per barrel, which is a sign of some relief in the global market.

FII selling

However, a matter of concern was that foreign institutional investors (FIIs) had made net sales of shares worth Rs 11,756.25 crore in the previous session. Despite this, domestic investors maintained strength in the market, due to which the market's growth remained intact.

It is worth noting that today's market performance proves that there is still turmoil in the market. Investors should recognize opportunities amid the fluctuations in the market and take steps according to their investment strategy.
