A serious road accident involving the family of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood occurred late on Monday night near the Mumbai-Nagpur Highway, according to sources close to the family. The car, carrying Sonu’s wife Sonali Sood, his sister-in-law, and other relatives, reportedly collided with a truck, leading to significant damage and multiple injuries.

Sonali Sood and her nephew sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Max Hospital in Nagpur, where they will remain under medical observation for 48 to 72 hours, as per hospital staff. Fortunately, Sonali’s sister sustained only minor injuries.

Upon receiving the news, Sonu Sood immediately left for Nagpur and has been by his wife’s side since Monday night. His spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating,

“Yes, Sonali has had an accident. Sonu is not available at the moment.”

Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Singal confirmed the details of the accident. He stated that the car’s airbags deployed at the time of the crash, which prevented major injuries to the passengers. However, the vehicle itself was badly wrecked.
