In Hinduism, Amavasya (New Moon Day) holds great spiritual importance, especially for ancestral rituals. When it falls on a Saturday, it becomes Shani Amavasya, a day dedicated to Lord Shani (Saturn). This day is particularly effective for reducing the effects of Shani Sade Sati and Shani Dhaiyya.
