Hyderabad: Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, who crossed over to India and worked in Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam has tied the knot with actor named Ameer Gilani. Fans were last month left stunned when the 32-year-old actress posted beautiful pictures from their small wedding that took place this Wednesday.
The pictures depicting the exercising couple are indeed lovebirds as they hug and kiss, look at the sky, and do many other things fondly. Mawra looked beautiful in an embroidered pastel blue lehenga and Ameer complemented her look in the classic black kurta pajama.
Both the sisters took to social media to announce the good news where Mawra captioned one of the pictures, “And in the middle of chaos… I found you. BISMILLAH 5.2.25. #MawraAmeerHoGayi."
As always, the comment section became an argument place to congratulate the newlyweds. One comment read, "MashAllah MashAllah!! So happy for you guyss!!" Another one said, “Ahh finally now with both of them I am very happy.” One of the fans intimated, “Needless to say, I have been overwhelmed by these pictures MA!!!”
The pair has earlier worked in famous TV serials like Sabaat and Neem and the on-screen couple has earlier also a fairly good chemistry. Though, their friendship and their appearances together in most occasions made the public assume that they were an item, none of them had accepted it until now.
Mawra delivered her first shot in the Hindi cinema through a romantic movie Sanam Teri Kasam, along with Harshvardhan Rane. While the film could not do well at the box office, it reached sporadic popularity on the OTT platforms. It has been expected to re-released in the theatres on February 7.
