Skoda Auto Business Plan: Luxury car maker Skoda Auto has prepared a complete plan to give a boost to its business by launching the compact SUV 'Kylak' in the Indian market. The company has stepped into the compact SUV segment for the first time. Skoda's plan behind this is to reach as many people as possible. Till now, Skoda's luxury segment cars were out of reach of common people due to their high prices. But now after the launch of Skoda's compact SUV in the range of less than 8 lakhs, it is expected that it will be able to make more space among the people than before.

The challenge presented for car companies

Skoda Auto has presented a challenge to many car manufacturers in the market by announcing the price of the base model of 'Kylak' at Rs 7.89 lakh. The entry of the new car in the market will give competition to cars like the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet. The company hopes that through the Kylok, Skoda will be able to strengthen its hold on the Indian market. For this, the company has also made special planning. During the launch event organized in Mumbai, Skoda Auto Chairman and CEO Klaus Zellmer said that Skoda wants to gain a hold on the large Indian market through 'Kylak'. So far, it is beyond its reach.

Company's special planning
Skoda Auto CEO Jelmer said that the company has made special plans for the Indian market. Through the Kylak, we are trying to attract a new type of customer. Through this, the figure of selling one lakh cars annually will be achieved by the year 2026. Skoda India's Brand Director Petra Janeba said that the company has planned to increase its network from 260 to 350 to increase its reach to small cities across the country. It is planned to execute it in the next one year. The company already has cars like Slavia, Superb, and Kodiaq in the Indian market.

Why did Skoda introduce 'Kylak'?
The popularity of SUV segment cars in the Indian market has increased rapidly in the last few years. But Skoda did not have any cars in this segment till now. Due to this its presence in the market was limited to a certain extent. Now by introducing Kilak at a budget price, Skoda has filled the void in this segment. Till now, Brezza, Nexon, Venue, and Kia Sonnet have dominated the market in this segment. But now with the arrival of Kilak, Skoda's hold among Indians will be strengthened. Experts say that with the introduction of Kilak, the company's sales are expected to increase.
