
Campa Launched in UAE : Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), has officially launched its iconic cold drink brand, Campa Cola, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The announcement was made at Gulfood 2025, one of the world's largest food and beverage (F&B) events.
This international expansion is a result of a strategic partnership with Agthia Group, a leading player in the region’s F&B sector.
First Steps into the UAE Market
The launch marks RCPL’s first entry into the UAE market, reinforcing its commitment to growing Campa Cola’s presence beyond India. After acquiring the brand in 2022, Reliance revived and reintroduced it in 2023. Now, the company is looking to tap into the vibrant UAE market, particularly appealing to the large Indian expatriate community.
Ketan Modi, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of RCPL, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion:
"We are thrilled to bring Campa Cola to the UAE, a brand with a legacy of over 50 years. This launch is part of our long-term vision, and we see immense potential for rapid growth in this region."
Growth Potential in the Soft Drinks Market
Highlighting the opportunity in the sector, Modi emphasized that RCPL aims to deliver innovative, high-quality beverages at competitive prices. He also noted that Campa Cola’s arrival in the UAE would evoke nostalgia among Indian expatriates, many of whom grew up with the beloved brand.
The Gulfood 2025 event, running from February 17-21, serves as the perfect platform to introduce Campa Cola to a global audience.
With this move, Reliance is taking another significant step toward strengthening its footprint in the international beverage market.
