Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar has recently made a big disclosure about his personal trauma in an interview. Along with this, he has spoken openly about drugs and told how he became addicted to them at a very young age. In an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Prateik said, 'People think that I have started doing all this after coming into films, but this is not true, rather I have been addicted to it since the age of 13. Yes, I was afraid and I was going through a difficult phase at that time, there were a lot of problems in the family. My family was not normal like common people and things were very different.'

Drugs have affected my relationships - Prateek.

Talking further on this in the same interview, Prateek said that there were a lot of problems in the family. This was the reason why I started taking drugs. I did not get any kind of addiction from the film industry, the consumption of drugs had already started. Along with this, he told how his personal relationships are affected to date due to addiction. Prateek said, 'This painful experience related to drugs affects in some way or the other, until that pain is not removed properly, it affects other parts of life as well. However, there comes a time when you have to work towards fixing it and I have done this for many years.
