Prashant Kishor :  Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj Party, has firmly dismissed allegations regarding the funding of his party. Addressing concerns raised by the ruling Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)], Kishor stated on Wednesday that his financial resources stem from his intelligence and the blessings of Maa Saraswati. He emphasized that he has never been involved in government contracts, nor has he ever held a position as an MP or MLA. Speaking at a party event in Patna, the former election strategist also took a jab at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that all the money is being diverted to Gujarat.

JD(U)'s Neeraj Kumar Accuses Kishor of Suspicious Funding

Kishor responded to allegations made by JD(U) spokesperson and MLC Neeraj Kumar, who questioned the source of funds for the Jan Suraj Party. Neeraj Kumar had recently claimed that a Bengaluru-based charitable organization was financing Kishor’s party. He further alleged that Kishor himself had donated ₹50 lakh to this organization, implying that the transaction could be linked to tax evasion.

Kishor: "I Have Never Been a Contractor or Held Any Government Position"

Defending himself, Kishor reiterated that his financial standing is a result of his strategic acumen and not due to any government contracts or political positions. "I have never been a contractor, an MP, or an MLA. I have not held any government post, nor have I ever been an IAS or IPS officer. Whatever I have is due to my intelligence and the blessings of Maa Saraswati. And we all know that those who are blessed by Saraswati ji eventually receive the grace of Lakshmi ji as well," he remarked.

Vows to Support Candidates Without Financial Resources

Kishor, 47, has pledged to bear the election expenses of Jan Suraj Party candidates who lack the financial means to contest elections. He also criticized the trend of Bihar’s youth being forced to migrate for work, stating, "Will all the money always go to Gujarat's youth, even when power is won through the votes of Bihar’s youth? This will no longer be tolerated. Bihar’s youth will not remain a source of cheap labor forever."

Prashant Kishor’s Role in PM Modi's Election Campaign

Kishor's political journey as an election strategist began in 2012 when he played a key role in managing the assembly election campaign for the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. He later spearheaded Modi’s 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign, contributing significantly to its overwhelming success.
