
Finally the day has arrived when Delhi will hit the polling booth today and Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the city’s voters to come out and vote saying ‘First vote then refreshment’. On the social media platform X, the PM appealed to the Delhi wallahs challenging them to exercise their franchise with enthusiasm.
Today, the polling will be conducted for all the seats in the Delhi Assembly. PM Modi also requested the people here to come forward and take part in this celebration of democracy with passion and cast vote, he said this in his post.He also tweeted specially for the first time voters adding, on this occasion I extend my best wishes to all the young friends who are going to vote for the first time. First important message written on the posters was “Remember – first vote, then refreshment!”
Speaking in the same respect, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also urged the people of Delhi to come out and vote."I appeal to the sisters and brothers voting in Delhi Assembly elections to vote for a clean Yamuna River; free of exploitation; free of liquor; nondrivable roads; and nonpotable water, said HM Shah in X.
HM Shah specifically opined that only a government religious on the welfare and policies and having clear vision regarding the development of Delhi needs to be brought in. He said, “Today, come out and vote a large a large chunk for a government that has put the masses first and has a major agenda for Delhi’s development. Today, if the Delhi voter comes out to vote, my vote could help in making Delhi the most developed capital of the world. Vote first, then have refreshments." This will be about the formation of the Delhi Legislative Assembly for the coming term, and the counting of the results will be carried out in February.
