PM Kisan 18th Installment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in an important program in Washim, Maharashtra on October 5. On this occasion, he will release the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides financial help to farmers. So far, 17 installments have been released under this scheme. About 1.20 crore farmers have received Rs 32,000 crore from these.

 

18th Installment

This time, Rs 20,000 crore will be given in the 18th installment. This amount is for 9.4 crore farmers. The money will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers.

About 2.5 crore farmers will join this program online. They will watch this program through webcast.

Apart from this, 732 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and more than one lakh Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies will also participate in it. Five lakh Common Service Centres will also participate in the program.

For the farmers of Maharashtra

About 91.51 lakh farmers of Maharashtra will get benefits of more than Rs 1,900 crore. This money will help them meet their needs.

Additional Amount

Under the Pradhan Mantri Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, an additional amount of Rs 2,000 crore will also be given to the farmers of Maharashtra.
