Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, released the latest tranche in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme (PM Kisan). In the case that you are a recipient of this initiative, then you know that it is possible to verify your status on the web. Modi congratulated the farmers on the completion of six years of this scheme claiming that Rs 3.5 lakh crore has been deposited in the farmers’ accounts. How To Check The Status Of Farmer Beneficiary
Step one is to head on over to the official PM Kisan site at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Then proceed to click on Beneficiary Status.
Then provide your Aadhaar number or account number in the box provided.
After that, simply press Get Data for the payment and status information.
Check whether you are an eligible beneficiary or not
Go to the official site of PM Kisan at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Access the page with the list of beneficiaries.
Choose your state, then your district, sub district, block, and lastly your village.
After pressing ‘Get Report’, you will be able to find the names of the beneficiaries. Additionally, the beneficiary list is displayed in local panchayats for transparency.
A few farmers were found ineligible due to the reasons stated as follows.
Some farmers had omitted details regarding their age and Khasra or Khatauni, as a result they were dropped off the beneficiary list.
Some farmers had problems in obtaining their dues due to submission of incorrect bank account number and IFSC code.
Some farmers made one or more mistakes in particular in filling the application form, or mistakes of some sorts were detected.
Farmers who did not complete the e-KYC process remain in this list.
However, please note that without an Aadhaar linked mobile number, you will be required to physically go to the nearest Common Service Center, which will allow you to eKYC by means of biometrics.
