LPG Price Cut: The price of aviation fuel (ATF) has been reduced by 1.5%. According to the new rates, ATF in Delhi has now become Rs 90,455.47 per kilolitre. This reduction has been done due to changes in oil prices in the international market. Earlier, prices were increased in November and December. ATF in Mumbai has now come down to Rs 84,511.93 per kilolitre.
Commercial LPG prices reduced
The price of commercial LPG cylinders used in hotels and restaurants has been reduced by Rs 14.5. Now a 19 kg cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1,804. This reduction has come after the increase in the last five months. This cylinder has become Rs 1,756 in Mumbai, Rs 1,911 in Kolkata and Rs 1,966 in Chennai.
Domestic LPG and fuel prices stable
There has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder used for domestic purposes. Domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi remains stable at Rs 803. Petrol and diesel prices are also stable. Petrol is available in Delhi at Rs 94.72 and diesel at Rs 87.62 per liter.
Procedure for Monthly Price Revision
Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise prices at the beginning of every month based on international oil prices and foreign exchange rates.
