The new Kharkhoda plant will have an initial annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh units.
An additional plant with a similar 2.5 lakh unit capacity is already under construction.
By 2029, the total production capacity at Kharkhoda is expected to rise to 7.5 lakh units per year.
The entire investment will be funded through internal accruals.
Maruti Suzuki stated that the new plant is part of a broader plan to meet growing market demand in India and overseas markets.
