The Mahakumbha Mela, which honors the Indian culture, faith, and spiritualism, will take place in Prayagraj beginning on the 13th of January in 2025 and ending on February 26th of the same year, with over a few crore devotees. While the Mahakumbh occurs only once every twelve years, it is held in Prayagraj this year. The sacred rivers Ganga and Yamuna along with the mythical river Saraswati meet at Triveni Sangam which gives this city in Uttar Pradesh its religious significance. This is the reason the people who come for Mela believe that bathing there will absolve them of their sins and liberate their soul, or simply granting them moksha. This year, alongside other locations available for the Mela, Prayagraj is also open. But Prayagraj isn't the only religious site in Uttar Pradesh, as I'm sure you're aware. Varanasi

Kashi or Benaras is what is called Varanasi even today, It is one of the oldest cities in the world that has been civlized for ages, It is popular with its ghats Dashashwamedh Ghat, Panchganga Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat. Also, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple is located here. It is the holy city of kashi and the birthplace Vishweshwara Kashi Vishwanath is followed by thousands of Hindu worshippers visiting India. They believe bathing at this river washes away sin and performing the last rites there opens the paths to heaven.

Ayodhya

Located by the Saryu river is one of the revered areas of India, Ayodhya is a city that is believed to have existed in the era of Ramayana which is located in India to this day and is considered to be Lord Ram’s birthplace ever since. It is said to be the first the first of the seven most sacred sites of pilgrimage in the form of temples, streets and other locations in India which Hindus have. The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple as well as the Hanuman Garhi are located in the city.

Vidhyanchal

The city of Vidhyanchal begins in the breathtaking landscape of Vindhyavasini goddess’s temples folded hands bowing down. The nearest city vecinity is Prayagraj which lies ~90 km away.
