
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has expressed her anger over a shocking Vadodara car accident involving law student Rakshit Chaurasia. The accident took place in Amrapali, Karelibaug, Gujarat, where a drunk driver allegedly rammed into two-wheelers, resulting in one fatality and four serious injuries. The deceased was a woman riding a scooter, while the injured were immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses report that Rakshit Chaurasia, who was under the influence of alcohol, caused chaos on Thursday night. Even after the accident, he was so intoxicated that he lost control and was seen screaming on the road.
Janhvi Kapoor Calls Out Reckless Driving
On Saturday, actress Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram stories to express her frustration and sadness about the incident. She wrote,
"This is horrifying and infuriating. I am deeply saddened by how anyone can behave like this, whether he is drunk or not. It does not matter. And what about the death of a woman?"
Meanwhile, Rakshit Chaurasia denied allegations of drunk driving while speaking to ANI. He claimed he was driving at 50 kmph when he lost control of the vehicle. However, the police investigation has revealed that another individual, Meet Chauhan, the car owner, was also present at the time of the accident. Chauhan managed to flee the scene before authorities arrived.

According to DCP Panna Momaya, the accused, Rakshit Chaurasia, is a law student from Varanasi. The police have taken him into custody, and further investigation is underway. While four injured victims continue to receive treatment, authorities are examining the accident’s cause and legal repercussions.
