The electric vehicle has now joined the ranks of Hyundai Creta as it was unveiled in India during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo event set high expectations. Customers would be able to place the order for the vehicle starting from 17th of this month as two versions of the battery packs will be available alongside the electric vehicle.

With the entry level battery pack of 42kWh the range extends to about 390 km but with the 51.4 kWh battery range gets extended to 473 km.

The top end variant comes with a powerful electric motor that provides 171 bhp of power with the acceleration speed of 0-100 km/h of 7.9 seconds.

Active aero flaps, New alloy wheels, designed ports are some of the notable features of the Creta Electric, the regular model of the Hyundai car has a new front end alongside the pixelated design elements and the charging port that is located in the front.

Customers will not need to worry about the stereo as the vehicle comes equipped with the integrated dual screen of 10.25 inches coupled with the digital instrument cluster, the steering wheel additionally has a morse code design engraved.

As for the new shift by wire column type shifter, it is equipped with a single pedal i pedal driving which allows one to come to a complete stop simply by taking the feet off the accelerator pedal.

Some highlights consist of V2L which enables charging of external devices, 8-way powered dual seats, a digital key, dual zone climate control, ADAS level 2 with regenerative braking, panoramic glass roof, connected car technology, powered passengers walk in device and plenty of others.

The upholstery on the seats is made of artificial leather and recycled materials with the cabin having dual tone Granite Grey mix dark navy while the was blue ambient light as well. The centre console was also designed as a floating type which is how most modern vehicles are built.

A fast DC charger will enable a user to charge the battery from empty to full in 80 mins instead of 11kw wall box charger which will take 4hrs to offer a full charge.

Creta electric will come with eight monotone and two dualtone options in colour while having three variants- Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence.
